“ We tried this spot when our usual (Off the Hook) was closed. Cool, eclectic ambiance with big sea turtle shells and dollar bills everywhere. We tried the red beans and rice, which was very tasty and a good value at $9. The roast beef sandwich had a solid beefy flavor and slow-cooked onions, covered with mozz on a nice soft roll, also a good deal at $12. I wasn't as impressed with the $8 small Greek salad...2 cubes of feta, 1 pepperoncini, 1 pickled okra, 4 black olives, 2 cherry tomatoes, 2 slices of mushroom, mozz, iceberg, and dressing...but it was decent and nicely plated. Service was friendly and didn't lesve us waiting. Well worth a try if you're looking for a diner-esque spot. ”

“ J Michaels is a typical beach bar with eclectic decor! The menu is a mixture / catfish, rice & beans, chili, salads, etc. not exceptional but decent! Dollar bills, surfboards, turtle shells, shotguns, etc decorate! Big bar area. Service was efficient and friendly! ”
“ We loved this place! Such a cool local spot! All the beach things ...surfboards on the ceiling etc.. but more importantly the food was amazing and the service is top notch! Are server was very attentive and so nice! We would definitely go back here! There were 4 of us and everyone raved about what they got. Delicious! ”
“ Well, we stopped at J Michael's tonight for our first official vacation dinner. We went a little later than we typically do for dinner (6pm) and had to wait about 20 minutes on a table for 6. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. She quickly brought our drinks followed by our order of smoked tuna. This tuna dip was a little more moist than most I've had with a bit sweeter taste but, was delicious. The portion was enough to feed all 6 of us We ordered a variety from shrimp and pasta, fisherman's sandwich with fries, chicken sandwich and a kids cheeseburger. The shrimp and pasta had a really good flavor to it. The sauce was little more runny than I typically like but again it was very flavorful with perfectly cooked shrimp. The chicken sandwich was really juicy and the ranch dressing with it was a nice touch. The breading on the fish sandwiches was about perfect and the fish itself was flaky. Loved the seasoning in the fries. They didn't need any additional salt and were delicious. All in all if you're looking for what feels like a cool but fast paced vibe, this place is for you. It's a relaxed atmosphere, with good Ol' casual food. ”

“ A little charm we found, we come on vacation with the family to Panama. The wait was not long. We sat quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken alfredo and added shrimp. Dessert was the no name by its homemade from scratch from the grandma. The recipe is not shared, but I must say it was yummy. The ambiance was cozy, warm, and homey. We will be back it was worth it. The price range was a tad high, but what isnt these days. ”
